ANNUAL music FESTIVAL IN THE HEART OF SHROPSHIRE
Dear Rock and Bowlers
As you all probably know the festival takes the hard work and commitment of a huge number of volunteers, sponsors and suppliers, many of them coming from the hard hit entertainments industry and they all contribute every year for the love of the festival and the town. RNB2022 was a fantastic return for our festival after the forced rest of the Covid years but it was hard work in a time where many volunteers and contributors needed to focus on their “day job” resulting in a number of core and key production suppliers/supporters needing to focus on their own businesses during the current economic times.
As a result we have taken the decision to partially rest the festival this year to allow our amazing team, to rest, recover & refocus on their own jobs, businesses and loved ones. We will return in 2024/2025 with a newly refocused, refreshed and roaring festival!
However, we are talking to our key sponsors and suppliers with a view to planning and staging possibly a more compact event on a day over the traditional festival weekend to keep you entertained and updated about what is going on at festival HQ.

WE'RE The Small festival with A Big heart

We have humble beginnings, starting as a beer garden music event back in 2009, to the full production family rock festival that we are today.
​
Over the years, we've had some amazing headline our main stage including Dr and the Medics, Dan Owen, Rews, Think Floyd, Noasis... the list goes on. We pride ourselves too on spotting up and coming talent, both local and further afield.

Each year, we set to put on an amazing event for families and music lovers alike and to raise money in support of local and national charities
