Easter Festival 'Warm Up' Event – fun for families, friends and music lovers alike!
This Easter Bank Holiday Sunday join us for the Rock and Bowl 2019 Warm up Event, hosted by our main sponsors Joule's Green Monkey in Market Drayton, Shropshire. On Sunday 21st April, we will be showcasing some of the best local musical talent at the Joule’s Brewery Red Lion Pub, as well as proudly celebrating the refreshingly crisp, sparkling craft lager, ‘Green Monkey’, brewed by Joule’s.
And yes... there's food! Don’t miss the sizzling BBQ with delicious hot food!

Who are the bands?
Custard Connection
Get ready for some high-energy dance floor fillers, bang-up-to-date chart hits, dance classics from the 90s to now, and some heavier rock-outs. You may recognise these guys, as they've recently played at the Albert Shed music bar in our neighbouring town of Shrewsbury!

Hairy Eyeball
Rock and Bowlers from previous years will know that we love our eccentric bands that bring some life to our stage - and these guys certainly fit the bill!
Hairy Eyeball will put on a sparkling performance at the Rock and Bowl Warm Up event, paying tribute to the era when the Titans of Glam Rock stalked the charts! In the words of the band themselves: Glam Bam, Thank You Ma’am!

Peter Jones
Another artist shared with the Albert Shed! A quirky entertaining solo artist singing classic songs across the generations accompanied by his wistful comments and observations on life, music and whatever comes into his head at a given moment.
Look familiar? Peter performed at Rock and Bowl Festival in 2018 and has been a regular in the Market Drayton live music for a number of years.

The annual Rock and Bowl Music Festival, takes place over three days every May bank holiday weekend in our hometown of Market Drayton.
Located in the town’s picnic area near the Tern River, the festival site is a beautiful green space close to the centre of town – a great place to host our small Shropshire music festival.
